Inter Adjust Lineup Following 2-0 Victory Over River Plate
Inter have made two adjustments to their starting lineup after their 2-0 win against River Plate. Stefan de Vrij and Marcus Thuram replace Francesco Acerbi and Francesco Pio Esposito.
Fluminense also made two changes following their scoreless draw with Mamelodi Sundowns. Thiago Silva and Facundo Bernal step in for Hércules and Agustín Canobbio.

Meanwhile, Fluminense’s 4-2 comeback win over Ulsan HD was their only standout result, bookended by goalless draws against Borussia Dortmund and Mamelodi Sundowns.
However, both sides have strong records in knockout matches. Fluminense won the Copa Libertadores in 2023, while Inter reached the finals of the Champions League in 2023 and 2025. The match could still prove engaging, weather permitting—kickoff is scheduled for 8pm UK time (3pm local).
