Officials announce Survival of Two Australians and Three Indonesians Following Helicopter Crash on Bali Island

Two Australians and three Indonesians survived a helicopter accident off Bali's coastal region, authorities report. The incident occurred when their Bell 505 Jet Ranger X became entangled in kite string lines.

The aircraft was registered to PT Whitesky Aviation and made an emergency landing on a limestone cliff within Pecatu village in southern Bali's coastline, according to Indonesia’s transportation ministry. The helicopter carried its crew and passengers at the time of the crash.

The local search and rescue agency confirmed that all individuals involved were rescued without harm. Three individuals received medical attention following their safe evacuation from the site.

Indonesia, a vast archipelago home to over 270 million residents, has experienced various transport-related incidents in recent times, including aviation and marine disasters.
