Israel intensifies attack on Gaza City, prompting Palestinians to evacuate their homes

The Israeli military instructed all Palestinian residents of Gaza City on Wednesday to leave the city and relocate southwards, following an escalation of its military operations that has resulted in numerous fatalities over 48 hours.

In accordance with this order, leaflets were distributed advising citizens within Gaza City to follow two designated "safe routes" heading south towards the vicinity of Deir al-Balah town, after multiple violent incidents occurred throughout other areas of Gaza in recent days.

On Tuesday, a strike on a school serving as refugee shelter led to at least 31 casualties, including eight children, according to Nasser hospital officials. Evidence from Al Jazeera depicted youths playing soccer near the school when an explosion occurred, causing residents to exclaim "strike! strike!"
