Jets Prepared for Delivery to Ukraine Following Training Period and Diplomatic Discussions

The first batch of Dutch-built F-16 fighter jets are set to reach Ukrainian skies in the near future and commence their missions during this summer. A White House press statement, attributed to leaders from both the Netherlands and Denmark who attended a NATO summit, disclosed that Ukraine is preparing for these operations after extensive pilot training and diplomatic dialogue.

Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen jointly announced during their press conference at the NATO event: "Ukraine will be operational with F-16s this summer," marking a historic moment as they are expected to be among an approximate total of 85 combat jets offered for Ukraine's defense efforts.
